Fundraising breakfast to assist internally displaced by war in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the conflict a year ago more than one million Ukrainian people became internally displaced and another half a million became refugees in neighboring countries.

Funds are needed to buy food and basic necessities for families that are left with no resources.

One ticket purchased for the event will allow Caritas Ukraine to provide one internally displaced family with supplies for one month.

Come to hear about the current humanitarian and human rights situation on the ground and the ways you can help.

Speakers: Dr. Andrew Bennett, Canada’s Ambassador for Religious Freedom, Bishop Christian Riesbeck, Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ottawa and others.

Friday, 29 May 2015 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM
Villa Marconi — 1026 Baseline Road — Ottawa, ON K2C 0A6

The ticket $100; charitable tax receipt is provided for $80.
