Rush Relief to Gaza

The explosion of violence between Hamas and Israel exacted a toll on civilians in Gaza - women, children and the elderly are paying the heaviest price.

There is a fragile truce, but the damage has been done. The Ahli Arab Hospital and our clinics run by the Near East Council of Churches need more medical supplies to treat injuries. Children have been traumatized by the conflict and require counselling and emotional support.

Thousands of homes need new windows, doors and sheetrock. Many families are now homeless; shells have destroyed their homes. Christian institutions have been damaged and need repair.

I invite you to help suffering families NOW by giving through CNEWA.

CNEWA’s regional director for Palestine and Israel, Sami El-Yousef, is in frequent communication with our partners in Gaza. He stated that, “once more CNEWA has been forced to shift its focus from sustainable development to emergency humanitarian relief. When will this madness stop?”

Please give $100 — or as much as you can — to aid relief efforts in Gaza.

Give online today! Or send your cheque to CNEWA Canada at 1247 Kilborn Place, Ottawa, ON, K1H 6K9 (for “Gaza”); or call 1-866-322-4441.
