The chaos in the Middle East has sent refugees fleeing into Lebanon. They now outnumber local residents in many districts, overwhelming poor communities that are already lacking in jobs, basic services and housing. Religious sisters and small parishes are caring for many of these displaced people. But the number of needy families and elderly is growing. And funding is quickly running out.

CNEWA is throwing a lifeline to these desperate people — and, through the local churches, working to uplift them materially, spiritually and pastorally. We are also supporting the formation of seminarians, ensuring that the sacramental life of the people remains strong and vibrant.

Donate today and you’ll help CNEWA help Lebanon during this critical time. You’ll help provide shelter, education and health care — and help local seminaries train future priests to serve those in need. As Lebanon struggles to cope with a tidal wave of despair, you’ll be part of the vital effort to turn suffering into hope.
